Manage my Credentials? (M)

This article will show you how to manage your credentials within your wallet.

  1. From the Credivera Wallet, tap on the menu icon in the top right corner. Tap the Credentials item to access all your credentials.
  2. You will be presented with a listing of credential types.
  3. Scroll down to see a listing of all your credentials along with their status.
  4. Tap on any credential to get details about its usage or to share that credential on LinkedIn. (Please refer to the “Sharing” document in the Knowledge Base)

Add A Credential

  1. Tap the Add credential button on the right side and a new window will open to enter the details. Any mismatch in the details entered and the information stored with the issuer will cause the verification process to result in an invalid credential.
    • Credential Issuer – Select the issuer for your certification. If the issuer is not in the list, select “I can’t find my issuer” and enter it manually.
    • Credential – select the credential from the list offered by that issuer. If the credential is not listed, select “I can’t find my credential” and enter it manually.
    • Issue Date – the date the credential was issued to the individual.
    • Expiry Date – will fill automatically if the credential has an expiry period.
    • Holder ID – Optional field that will only be fillable if required for verification.
    • Attachment – select Browse Files to search for an electronic version of your certification in one of these formats; PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG. **An electronic version of your certification is required for verification purposes.

  2. Click/Tap Add at the bottom of the window and your credential will go into a Pending status. Once the issuer of that credential verifies the submission, it will turn green.

Update a Credential

  1. If a credential has expired or becomes invalid, a new version can be uploaded creating a history of certification. On the details tab of any credential, scroll to the bottom and tap Update credential.
  2. Enter the new issue date and attach the new electronic version for your credential and click/tap Update.
  3. Your credential will be submitted for verification and the history of that credential will be visible under the History tab.

Deactivate/Reactivate a Credential

  1. To Deactivate a credential, tap on it and you will open the Details tab. Scroll to the bottom of that tab and tap Deactivate.
     
  2. You will see a warning on the screen, tap Deactivate again to confirm your choice.
     
  3. The credential will no longer be displayed in your active credentials. To view or reactivate your credential, change the toggle from Active to Inactive
  4. Tap on the credential and select Reactivate to return it to your Active list.
