      Credivera Application Privacy Policy

      End user terms and conditions

      Purpose

      TerraHub Technologies Inc., doing business as Credivera (the "Company", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone with whom we do business, including individuals who use our application, Credivera (the "Application"). This Application Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes our commitments to users of our Application and some of the functionalities that are engaged when someone uses our Application.

      Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices for collecting, using, disclosing, and storing personal information. By engaging with the Application and otherwise providing personal information to us in the course of using our services, users accept and consent to the practices described in this Policy. This Policy may change from time to time. A user's continued engagement with our Application and with the Company after any such revisions indicates a user's acceptance and consent to them. If a user does not agree to terms and conditions of this Policy, such user should discontinue his or her use of our Application immediately.

      Application of Policy

      This Policy applies with respect to users of our Application. Personal information that the Company collects, uses or discloses about individuals or organizations with whom we do business and have contractual relationships is not governed by this Policy. Such information is protected by other Company policies and practices. We encourage users to request and review the privacy policies of any third-parties upon visiting such third-party websites or applications or upon disclosing information to such parties.

      The Application

      We empower everyone to manage their credentials from wherever they are, to support individual privacy and industry compliance. The Application simplifies compliance in highly regulated industries by providing proof of workforce training, professional accreditation and competence. The Application securely stores verifiable documents to ensure workers are ready to enter a safe and compliant location.

      The Application provides a platform that facilitates digital credential storage from authorized issuers. Once verified, users are able to securely store the relevant documents in the Application and all such documents remain under the user's control and stored on the user's local device. We will always ask for user consent before sharing personal information with a Credivera partner (e.g., a current or potential employer) and we will provide the user with confirmation of which organizations have received their personal information. Users are able to delete the Application at any time, upon which the user's onboarded information will be permanently removed from the Application.

      Third Parties

      The services of the Application may include third-party features and functions including access through a third-party’s API or may allow users to access content on a third-party website. As described above, the user may also share their own verified credentials with third-parties of the user's choice. Such disclosure of personal information, features, functions or content may be subject to third-party terms of service and privacy policies. Users acknowledge sole responsibility for and assume all risk arising from, use of third-party features or disclosure of personal information to any third-parties.

      Personal Information

      For the purpose of this privacy policy, “personal information” means information about an identifiable individual.

      Unless outlined in this Policy or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, no personal information is collected without first obtaining a user's express or implied consent. The Company collects personal information through the use of the Application. The Company may also collect limited personal information from individuals who make requests to the Company for information or if an individual otherwise provides personal information to us.

      The Company will limit the amount of personal information that is collected to only that required for its identified purposes. Personal information will not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected or as outlined in this Policy or permitted by applicable law.

      Personal Information on the Application

      For the functioning of the features of the Application and to provide necessary information to our service providers (if applicable), the Application requires that users directly upload relevant documentation that may include personal information. Note that users are able to securely store their personal information in the Application. Such personal information remains under the user's control and is stored on the user's local device (i.e., the Company is not able to access, share or disclose any of the documentation or personal information uploaded to the Application without the user's express consent). The personal information that is obtained directly from users may include:

      • Credential Information: name, contact details, email address, phone number, document number, worker credential and authorizations, background check credentials, occupational health credentials, date of birth, type of document, issuing country and expiration date.
      • User Information: information related to a user's use of the Application, location, verified documents, download of Application-related events (e.g., creation and acceptance of terms), verification-related events (e.g. process started/stopped/failed/completed), authorized issuer related events (request received, response sent).
      • Authorized Issuer Information: information relating to the user's relationship with an authorized issuer (such as the issuer of a credential) and information contained in uploaded issuer documents.
      • Biometric Data: We do not collect any biometric data.

      Use of Personal Information

      Credivera and the Application may use personal information to:

      • To establish the connection between the user's identity, document and authorized issuer.
      • To improve and develop our services and the function of the Application.
      • For metrics and analytics to monitor and improve our services.
      • To allow a user to share with a third-party, one or more verified credentials. Example third-parties are: recruiters, employers, professional organizations who require proof of qualifications from a user.
      • To communicate with users (e.g., feedback, inquiries, troubleshooting, technical support).
      • To conduct fraud checks, including device integrity and fraud signals.
      • As may be necessary to comply with applicable law.

      Disclosure of Personal Information

      We may share or disclose personal information collected via the Application as follows:

      • As part of criminal, administrative or regulatory proceedings or investigations, to meet legal, regulatory, insurance, audit, and security requirements, and as otherwise with the user's consent or as permitted or required by applicable law.
      • In connection with the proposed or actual financing, securitization, insuring, sale, assignment or other disposal of all or part of our business or assets, for the purposes of evaluating and/or performing the proposed transaction.
      • The user may select to share their credential information with third-parties at the user's discretion.

      Processing of Personal Information

      The Company does not store or process personal information outside of the Application and the user's local device. The Company does not transfer personal information to subsidiaries, affiliates or third-party service providers, with the exception of credential information that the user has chosen to share with third-parties at their discretion.

      Retention

      Personal information will be retained only as long as necessary for the identified purpose, subject to the Company’s retention policy and applicable legislative requirements.

      Security

      The security of all user's personal information is very important to us. We use physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. We caution that, while we endeavor to secure all personal information, no network, system or server is 100% secure.

      Contacting Us

      We endeavor to be transparent about how we manage personal information and privacy issues.

      Personal information will be maintained in as accurate, complete and up-to-date form as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is to be used. Users are responsible for notifying the Company of any changes to personal information that has been collected by the Company and/or the Application.

      Revisions

      This Policy is effective as of the date set out below. We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time. Any changes to this Policy will be effective from the time that the revised version of the Policy is available on the Application.
